Lily Nguyen is a lawyer at Maurice Blackburn Commercial. She
practices in commercial litigation and commercial insolvency related
matters. Her areas of practice include contractual disputes, retail
tenancy disputes, trade practices matters, property disputes, debt recovery and
corporate insolvency related matters.
Lily has experience in the conduct of large-scale discoveries, evidence review, instituting and conducting proceedings, drafting demands and claims and conducting negotiations, including mediations. She provides advice to clients in the management of disputes and, where appropriate, seeks to achieve commercial outcomes.
She was admitted to practice in May 2006. She is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Victorian Women Lawyers and the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC). Lily also sits on Maurice Blackburn's Refugee, Asylum and Detainee Public Interest Law Committee. Lily graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Accounting).
